Day 1
LONDON - PARIS (2 nights)
A warm welcome from your Tour Director as you travel to Dover to catch the ferry to France. See the Vimy Ridge Memorial en route to the glittering capital city of Paris. This evening enjoy a Welcome Drink with your Tour Director and fellow travellers.

Day 2
PARIS SIGHTSEEING AND AT LEISURE
Morning sightseeing with a local expert guide includes a drive along the Champs Élysées to the Arc de Triomphe, then on to the Eiffel Tower to ascend to the second level. Next you will enjoy views of Notre Dame Cathedral before free time to explore this enchanting city further. Perhaps take an excursion to the Louvre Museum to see the Mona Lisa.

Day 3
PARIS - LUCERNE
An early start today as you drive through the Burgundy vineyards, seeing the Castle of Châteauneuf. Continue past the remains of the Maginot Line at Belfort to reach the Swiss border at Basel. Then on to the lakeside resort of Lucerne where orientation shows you the wooden Chapel Bridge and the poignant Lion Monument. After dinner, enjoy a walk along the lakeshore.

Day 4
LUCERNE - VENICE
The St. Gotthard highway takes you past dramatic Alpine peaks and on to the Italian border at Chiasso. Glimpse Lake Como and skirt around Milan before continuing to the magical city of Venice.

Day 5
VENICE - FLORENCE
This morning your canal cruise takes you to St. Mark’s Square where you see the Bridge of Sighs and the Doge’s Palace. Finally witness a glass-blowing demonstration by a skilled craftsman before driving across the Apennines to the Renaissance city of Florence.

Day 6
FLORENCE - ROME (2 nights)
Your guided walking tour shows you the Cathedral, the Baptistery, Giotto’s Bell Tower and Signoria Square. It also visits Santa Croce Church where so many great Italians are buried including Michelangelo. Then time to shop for leather and gold before on to the ‘Eternal City’, Rome.

Day 7
ROME SIGHTSEEING AND AT LEISURE
Today your guided sightseeing tour visits St. Peter’s Basilica in the Vatican where you see the famous Pietà by Michelangelo. Then cross the Tiber to ancient Rome where you overlook the Forum and see the mighty Colosseum and the Circus Maximus where the chariot races took place. Tonight enjoy a Farewell Dinner together with your Tour Director and new-found friends.

DEPART ROME
‘Arrivederci’ as your memorable tour of Europe comes to an end. Airport transfers are available. Conditions apply.
