Day 1
ARRIVE CALGARY
Welcome to Calgary! Take your complimentary transfer to the tour hotel. This afternoon, meet your Tour Director who can answer any questions you may have about the exciting days ahead. At 6 p.m., gather at the hotel with your Tour Director and fellow travellers for a Welcome Reception.

Day 2
CALGARY - ICEFIELDS PARKWAY - COLUMBIA ICEFIELD - JASPER (2 NIGHTS)
Head north along the stunning Icefields Parkway, driving beneath snowcapped peaks, and alongside thundering waterfalls and glistening glaciers. Keep an eye out for wildlife including grizzly and black bears, moose, elk and mountain goats. Upon arrival at the Columbia Icefield, board an Ice Explorer for a unique journey onto the massive Athabasca Glacier. Stay tonight in the heart of Jasper National Park where you’ll learn about Rocky Mountain wildlife at an interactive, after-dinner presentation by a local expert.

Day 3
JASPER NATIONAL PARK SIGHTSEEING - AT LEISURE
Start the day with an optional cruise on Maligne Lake before embarking on an interpretive walk at Maligne Canyon, one of the most beautiful gorges in the Rockies. Learn about one of Canada’s longest underground river systems while strolling along the canyon's trail, past beautiful waterfalls and spectacular rock formations. The rest of the day is yours to spend as you like: relish the superb vistas, stroll the quaint streets, or join one of the optional activities which include a gentle float trip down the Athabasca River or a guided alpine excursion to Mount Edith Cavell.

JASPER - LAKE LOUISE - MORAINE LAKE - BANFF (3 NIGHTS)
Snow-capped peaks, ice-blue glaciers, pounding waterfalls and surging rivers dominate the landscape on the way to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Banff National Park. Soon the stunning emerald and aquamarine lakes of the Rockies are revealed. Visit post-card perfect Lake Louise and take a narrated stroll along the lakeshore to learn about the geology and history of the area. Continue on to stunning Moraine Lake, nestled in the dramatic Valley of the Ten Peaks. Immerse yourself in the natural glories of Banff, including the classic viewpoint of Surprise Corner along Tunnel Mountain Drive, spectacular Bow Falls and the wind-shaped rock formations known as hoodoos. End the day in the quintessential alpine village of Banff for a relaxing three-night stay.

YOHO NATIONAL PARK - EMERALD LAKE - BANFF AT LEISURE
Cross the Continental Divide and set out for Yoho National Park with its towering waterfalls, spectacular scenery and natural bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. You’ll see Emerald Lake, sparkling with the blue-green hue of a precious jewel. Spend the rest of the day as you like - perhaps ride on the Banff Gondola to the top of Sulphur Mountain to experience a bird's eye view of six mountain ranges or a river float trip down the Bow River. Tonight, if the landscape makes you feel like singing, choose a fun outing at Banff’s entertaining musical dinner theatre.

BANFF AT LEISURE
Today is yours to explore as you please. Browse the shops along Banff Avenue, take a hike and enjoy your spectacular setting or be wowed by birds-eye views of the Rockies with an optional scenic helicopter flight over Mount Assiniboine. Your Tour Director will be happy to assist you in planning your day. This evening, join your newfound friends at a festive Farewell Dinner.

BANFF - CALGARY - ROCKY MOUNTAINEER
After bidding farewell to your Tour Director, it’s "All aboard!" the Rocky Mountaineer train in RedLeaf Service (GoldLeaf Service upgrade available) for a two-day independent daytime rail journey back to Vancouver. Travel through the incredible engineering feat of the Spiral Tunnels, past the glaciers of Kicking Horse Pass, under Mount McDonald and along the South Thompson River to historic Kamloops — "the meeting of the waters" — where you are transferred to your hotel.

KAMLOOPS - ROCKY MOUNTAINEER - DEPART VANCOUVER
Continue your rail journey through the Thompson and Fraser Canyons. Approaching Vancouver, travel through the fertile fields of the Fraser River Valley and alongside the towering peaks of the Coast Mountains before arriving at approximately 5:30 p.m. Take a complimentary transfer to Vancouver International Airport or to the tour hotel downtown if you want to extend your stay. The train’s arrival into Vancouver can be subject to delays so please allow plenty of time for your onward travel arrangements.

Day 2
VANCOUVER - STRAIT OF GEORGIA - VICTORIA (2 NIGHTS)
Be swept away by sparkling Vancouver with its sweeping views of English Bay. Set out for Stanley Park and its towering totem poles and explore the vibrant neightborhoods of Chinatown and Gastown with its cobbled streets. Travel by ferry to Vancouver Island and Victoria, home to fashionable tearooms and old English charm. Though the wooden fort is long gone, Bastion Square welcomes visitors with lovely architecture and a bustling market. You’ll see the lovely Inner Harbour and the impressive Parliament Buildings. Travel north to the seaside community of Cobble Hill. Visit a family-owned ciderhouse and taste the bubbly fresh flavours of apple cider pressed from local apples accompanied by artisan breads. VICTORIA SIGHTSEEING - AT LEISURE
Greet the day with breakfast at Butchart Gardens, a 55-acre preserve of gorgeous floral gardens. Site of an old cement works in the early 20th century, these gardens were transformed by the Butchart family into a world-famous preserve of exotic plants and flowers. Meet with a representative of the gardens who can answer any questions you have, and then spend some time exploring the gardens on your own, strolling the winding pathways, spotting colourful butterflies and taking in their unique natural beauty. Back in Victoria, enjoy the rest of your day at leisure. Walk around town, do some shopping or perhaps join an optional whale-watching trip.

VICTORIA - SEA TO SKY HIGHWAY - WHISTLER
Return to the mainland and board your motorcoach for the scenic drive along the Sea-to-Sky Highway, which winds between the glittering waters of Howe Sound and the soaring Coastal Mountains. Feel the spray on your face and listen to the thunder of the water at the 1,105-foot (337-metre) Shannon Falls near the town of Squamish, once the southern terminal of the Pacific Great Eastern Railway. This afternoon, arrive in Whistler and stretch your legs on a guided walking tour of the village that hosted part of the 2010 Winter Olympic Games.

WHISTLER - CACHE CREEK - KAMLOOPS
Head east as you cross the Coast Mountains, and travel along remote Duffy Lake Road through some of the most beautiful scenery on in Canada. At Historic Hat Creek Ranch, chat with costumed interpreters who introduce you to what life was like in the midst of the great gold rush of the 1860s. Before the gold rush brought prospectors and fortune seekers, the Shuswap people lived in this verdant valley; visit a local village where you can meet and talk with these native people who still live close to the land. This evening, savour a Highlight Dinner at a local restaurant in Kamloops, a translated Shuswap word meaning “the meeting of the waters.”

KAMLOOPS - CANADIAN ROCKY MOUNTAIN PARKS - BANFF (2 NIGHTS)

Visit Mount Revelstoke National Park and view old-growth rainforest of giant red cedars and alpine meadows rich with wildflowers. Next, enter Glacier National Park and climb over stunning Rogers Pass — keep an eye out for native wildlife such as caribou, mountain goats and grizzly bears. After crossing the Columbia River, you’ll be on the western slopes of the Rocky Mountains in Yoho National Park with its towering waterfalls, ice-clad peaks and natural bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. KETCHIKAN
Scenic, remote Ketchikan clings to the side of a steep hillside overlooking the expanse of the northern Pacific.
